Mine's ****ing permanent I'll spend next Sunday going to the Citeh game and then i'll be crippled for the next few days
Yet they still got a draw. We managed to concede stupidly easy goals , predictably within a few minutes of us scoring. How many times are we going to see that before we try and STOP it happening ? We make the same mistakes every week , thats why so many people are annoyed. Nothing is improving , we are stationary . Its like groundhog day.
But once again you aren't answering the question. It is OK (apparently) for attackers to miss chances and make a mistake. But if the defense allows a chance at all, it isn't good enough (apparently). Is that really what you are saying?
I would suggest to you that defending is slightly easier than scoring goals., we have seen in the past where the WHOLE team has been in the box and we have let a goal in . That should not be happening .
Arsene's gone off his rocker. On the Ramsey "penalty" "It was a penalty and the referee saw it, you know why he did not give it? "Because he thought the guy had not done it on purpose, and I think as well it was accidental, but he did not trip himself, he was caught clearly by the leg of the Swansea player. "The referee hesitated and he did not give it." Didn't Ramsey trip himself up? Tiendalli didn't touch him.
The guy touched him lose his penalty before they go in the box, but it was NEVER a penalty as the trip was from Ramsey (he clipped himself) All managers moan about this stuff so I'm not really bothered
There was contact - i watched the slowmo replay like 4 times in a row when it happened. The guy gets to clsoe to Ramsey so as Ramsey runs, the heel of his right foot as it lifts up clips the defenders shin which sent ramseys right foot into hsi left foot. On almost all of the replays it looks like ramsey trips over his feet, but if u watch it you will notice the contact that is made. Don't think it was on purpose at all but it did take Ramsey out.
Because it'll turn into a moanfest in which everyone sounds like a dumped boyfriend whining about losing the love of their life - you being the chief culprit.
But surely it had to be a goal scoring opportunity to award a penalty. The ref saw it was Ramsey and said , well he wouldnt have scored anyway .
I've rewatched it, there is no contact in the area. If contact does occurr, it's likily a tiniest touch outside the area, but again, i can't see any contact.
It doesn't have to be a goal scoring opportunity. If an attacker is fouled in the penalty area it is a penalty.Think about Eboue's push against Liverpool a couple of seasons ago
The point about the Ramsey incident, is not whether there is contact, but whether or not you think that the defender was "careless" in catching Ramsey. If he was being reasonably careful to avoid clippping him. I think in this instance, I wouldn't have called a penalty, certainly not given the view that the referee had.
