I believe the good times are around the corner and we must trust the Americans that they will get it right and i have faith they will......we dont have any choice really so we might as well get behind them..
"Allen and Bony wouldn't touch Swansea with a ten foot poll after they left ...FACT" Roof, I'd challenge that even if it came from someone who didn't live 8,000 miles away....and it's 'pole'.
If Jenkins had offered both Man City and Liverpool what they wanted right at the beginning of the transfer window they would both be a swans player at the start of the season, We didn't because of Jenkins as he was calling the shots and he did not have a clue what we needed and we ended up losing two players that would be a huge asset to the club and i doubt we would be in this position.....He is to blame for our downfall over the last few seasons not anyone else....he needs to step down pretty quick...
Booolsheeeet. If it were up to the old board then yes, Allen would be here. Not so sure about Bony who made no overtures about returning. I don't think he was iterested anyway, so as far as I'm concerned, the Bony point is mute. Thing is, the old board aren't making the decision anymore, the new one is. Imo, the reason they didn't sign Joe was because they'd just sanctioned, on the then managers request, a deal for a central midfielder, Fer. To them, buying Joe would be repeating the process and a waste of money. Wrong I know, but in their eyes they'd be buying two of the same. I personally doubt Jenkins had any say in it anyway as he works for them, the majority shareholders and so has to follow their lead and abide by their decisions. Whisper, whisper, Jenkins will is leaving at the end of the season anyway. He's only here as part of the takeover deal. His role is simply to smooth things over until the new owners find their feet and appoint their own chairperson? Downfall.....Dai........ Have you ever thought of writting a screenplay for a Holywood disaster movie? It would be a modern day fiction epic, a blockbuster.
You are so wrong here stumpy butty. Jenkins was left in full charge of everything by the Americans and even the manager said that Jenkins was in charge of recruitment and the Americans stepped in after our 7th loss to have took over the pigs ear that Jenkins created.......Jenkins is 100% at fault and not just this season either......Changes have been made and the one change i want to see is Jenkins being replaced asap for his crimes against Swansea city in recent years....He has ruined what we had and instead of progressing we have been growing weaker by the season and that has cost the club millions even after selling our best players at a profit.
Thinking positively lads!!! We have twice as many points as Sunderland do!!!............................
This myth about times are different now and a team MUST spend big is bull..IMO . Rich teams still buy titles ( Manchester teams 400 million spent each the past 5 seasons ) . Stupid teams spend stupidly and barely stay up ( Sunderland 73 million spent the past 5 seasons ) Smart teams spend wisely and are generally always in the top ten ( Everton 43 million spent the last 5 seasons ) The smartest team spends more than wisely and average 10th place over the past 5 seasons ( Swansea 9 million MADE the past 5 seasons ). But we are slowly turning into a stupid club with the hierarchy dictating things on the pitch instead of keeping their imput to the boardroom . I worry for our team and managers of late and for good reason
We have seen what doing Jenkins way has done to the club and everyone can see his way has made us go backwards.......Now we know we cant spend like the big clubs and we never will but we have seen players we can afford and still we lose out because of Jenkins......If you try to go barging hunting you will lose out to some cracking players well affordable being snapped up by other clubs and in some cases we end up paying more....
