    Wrong tactics.
Seems like we played the game of bottom of the table teams who just try to park the bus. That's not our style - should have just played the way we usually get success.

Agree, Stero. ML for the first time didn't want to loose this one and would have been happy to get a draw. Some sloppy passing again, we must cut this out.

Tactics were ok, it was some of the players who need a kick up the backside.

Ki's passing was woeful, and unlike Michu, when lost the ball, didn't looked interested in winning it back.
Dyer, all I found myself doing was shouting at him to f*****g run towards their defenders, such a piss poor performance from him, didn't look like he cared one iota. Not even defensively. Roll on getting Hernandez back.

Other than those 2, and the stray passes from one or 2 others (Britton nearing the end of the game) we played fine.

well beaten at the end of the day, totally 2nd best throughout the game and it took another superb performance from tremmel to stop them getting double figures,,,,!-0 flattered us today spurs had 24 shots with 16 on target to our 4 shots with zero on target, the spurs goalkeeper was not needed through out the match and could just as well been sitting in the stands watching....very poor display with only tremmel who you could say came away with any credit...

Ash and Chico were very good today. Britton not so. Ki was sloppy and Davies had his hands full with Lennon. Tottenham is a good team and they beat us. Not much to say on to the next game.

    Ash and Chico were outstanding.
Tiendalli and Davies were both good.
    Ki was sloppy.
    Dyer was ****.
    The others so, so.

To be fair Dai, if Lloris hadn't made a very good decision to come and punch that at the end we would have equalised...so he was needed.

Tremmel is nothing special but hasn't really let us down at all. He's 34 or so playing at this level for pretty much the first time and doing a job. Took a rocket off Walker in the first half. He is the least of our concerns when players like Dyer mail it in.

Agree with kj here, please discuss the game and not aim at scoring points please.

Williams was great today, the front six wasteful and ineffective.

He's handling the routine stuff well enough. For a big man he doesn't command his box with any authority and lacks Vorm's agility. Maybe, just maybe, Vorm might have got that shot today.

Tremmel and the CB's were very good today, Ki and dyer dreadful. Well agreed that we need to strengthen defence, midfield and striker.
Augustien should have started ahead of Ki and DG or Moore upfront. We need a striker sooo bloody badly!

Not sure why he doesnt start Itay,Moore or DG up front. Michu has got nearly all his goals from midifield . We cant be too harsh as we would never expect 3pts up there but the manor of the performance can always be talked about IMO.

I had us down for a loss today but i thought we would at least give them a game...How can ash and co be outstanding when spurs had 16shots ontarget???? 16 shots that tremmel had to deal with and saved 15 of them. Now if you think having that many chances at our goal is good then i don't know what is bad...<ok>

I thought Swansea defended very well today and certainly made things difficult for us.

But I was expecting a bit more attacking threat from the Swans which never really materialised.

The best of luck with the rest of your season.

Dai if somebody shoots 16 times from outside the area it is still a shot on target and still a save from the keeper even if it is from 40 yrds and travelling at snails pace, im not saying that exactly what happened at all but it just shows that stats can prove anything, the stat that matters is the won at the end of the game and that said 1-0 to Spurs well deserved too IMO.

No shame going there and losing,a bit dissapointed we didnt perform to 100% but if we could do that every week then the team would be top of the league and we would be champions of europe too !! we are Swansea city and its sometimes easy to forget our place, we are progressing nicely and building a nice team, consider our best 2 players last season cant even make the Spurs first 11 ,that shows the gulf we are bridging in the prem league.

Teams like Spurs can build every season, teams like Swansea have to RE-build !! thats because our good players get sold or become targets for bigger clubs, caulker was a spurs player and did awesome for us,it says it all when 5th choice youngster looks 1st choice talent at the liberty !!

Considering all this to be dissapointed losing 1-0 to Spurs away shows how far we have come, the manor of the defeat is not really a big issue when you look at the strides we have made again this season under Laudrup <ok>

Of the 16 shoots Tremmel had fired at him, how many really troubled him? 2-3? and then they were run of the mill saves, he should be making. The Walker shot was hit straight at him and was luck he never saw it.

Spurs deserved to win, if we'd have offered a bit more up front then we could have got something out of the game.

armchair fans that cant take the truth <doh> you will have to be able to spot the realism of the game if you ever want to be as good as me..<ok> When we have played well you see me praise the team but if they pay bad like today then i will say so and back it up with hard facts.....Its no good deluding yourself that we were ok as that puts it into fantasy land and absolutely nothing about how the game went. Its up to you of course if you think we were good, ok or brilliant but the facts show by the stat's that back it up that we were rubbish and lucky at the same time, not a single shot on target to spurs 16 on target....you will have to learn what football is all about first before you will ever be as good as me and take defeat and admit the stats dont lie and the team deserves criticism....stop fooling yourselves and get in the real world...laudrup got it all wrong today and it showed from start to the extra 8 minutes of extra time....
