I just posted on the Sunderland board about this, there were a few fans booing when taylor went off, probably as Taylors tackle was so rash. I agree we shouldnt have been booing the Sunderland player though

It was Taylors fault - it was a very rash challenge.

If you call standing there with your arms folded "clapping"! You do realise half of the away end was filled with Swans fans today <laugh>

How can anyone say there was no booing, why do you think the east stand choir were giving it large with

    your a ****er
    your a ****er
    your a ****er

just after he got carried off

This is getting daft. Once and for all....nobody has said there was no booing. Some did. But to say the Sunderland fans 'to a man' refused to applaud Taylor is just plain old fashioned WRONG! Other posters have confirmed this.

Our fans booing the Sunderland player who got clattered by Taylor was equally deplorable imo.

You can say what you want. I know what I saw because I deliberately made a point of looking. Where were you sitting in the ground?

West Stand, close to where Chico made the kick, I only glanced in that direction because of the booing tbh as was clapping Taylor off, but there was def sunderland fans flapping their hands about.

I'm in the South, too far away to see opposition fans, have no idea what O'shea was doing though arguing with our fans but to be fair when Taylor was taken off I did see the Sunderland players clapping him.

Thanks, guys. I rest my case. People see different things depending on what you were looking at and where you were in the ground. For the record I'm East central and I also know what I saw.

West Stand - only glanced at the fand. East central - looking directly across to the Neil Taylor incident (ie not at the Sunderland fans)

    I rest my case

    Yay.

That's right PGF I can't move my head and always look directly ahead. <doh> Can't you just accept that me and others haven't made up what we saw? What a stupid ****ing debate.

Yes - significantly fewer than when they scored a few seconds later
