You've got a point, Rhod. I don't think we'll get away with some of the sloppy passing we've seen so far against better opposition and Sunderland are certainly that. It'll be our toughest test so far.
Well I expect the Liberty to be bouncing tomorrow with another record broken " The Swans will break a club record for a home crowd at the Liberty Stadium for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Sunderland. The club can announce we have sold all of the 1,000 tickets returned to us from Sunderland, who opted to take half of the full allocation for away teams. It means the Swans will be backed by around 19,700 home fans as Michael Laudrup’s side target a third consecutive Premier League victory this season. "
Can't see him playing tomorrow, even if he is eligible. Possibly on the bench, but he hasn't had time to get his boots out of his suitcase yet!
Yes of course its going to be a tough game, they all are from top to bottom...when anyone predicts then its more a wish and hope than a prediction, I have said 4-0 but i know dam well we could lose 4-0 as well and should we win 4-0 then it will just be pure luck and a number i picked out of the air......The main thing is that we give sunderland respect and welcome the traveling fans to the liberty. Who will win???? god knows as you cant tell in sport in general and it all depends on the day as anyone can beat anyone in this league home and away......cant wait....
Yeahh I wouldn't expect him to start anyway with the current form of Routledge. Next week we may actually have 11million pounds worth of talent in 2 players sitting on our bench
Good thread A D, very interesting about that asunder bit. Glad to see that there were empty seats at Southampton's first game, bit of a surprise but I'm coming over in November when the Swans are there and hope to get tickets. No empty seats at the Liberty this week end I'm guessing and some amazing signings, truly incredible. Keep up the good work Match Day Thread writers. As a Swan's fan, when you think it can't get any better than last year, it got better and better and now Hernandez? Who asked to come? Am I dreaming? Enjoy the game tomorrow fellow jacks, set for record here as I'm working but at least we have got all 3 games here so far.
Bit nervous that our bubble is about to be burst tomorrow. I'm going... 3-2 to the swans. (Had been thinking 2-2 all day, but a few tinnies have made me more optimistic!)
Be making my way to the game soon, looking forward to it now it's almost here 2 nil to the swans I hope
West ham are killing Fulham 3-0 at halftime. Are Fulham really that weak, or are we so much stronger. It's tough to gauge where the teams are relative to each other. Expecting that we go top of the table tonight.
Swans: Michel Vorm, Angel Rangel, Chico Flores, Ashley Williams (capt), Neil Taylor, Leon Britton, Jonathan de Guzman, Michu, Nathan Dyer, Wayne Routledge, Danny Graham. Subs: Gerhard Tremmel, Alan Tate, Ben Davies, Kemy Agustien, Ki Sung-Yueng, Itay Shechter, Luke Moore.
I am expecting a normal MON away day where we get men behind the ball and hit on the break through Sess and the wingers. Will be a tight game I think and will go for a 1-1 draw. Hopefully Fletcher has got a bit more hard training under his belt as he was a little off the pace in the cup game midweek.
Sunderland AFC ‏@SAFCofficial Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, Colback, O'Shea, Cuellar, Cattermole ©, Larsson, Johnson, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher. Subs: Campbell, Kilgallon, Dong-won, Meyler, Bramble, Saha, Westwood. No surprises there. Larsson will prob play CM with Cattermole with Gardner and Colback as the full backs
