Not according to the stats of the premiership....We have one of the best home and away sets of fans....
Agree with all except the first points mind. Denayer's arm was already up before the ball was kicked and I think it decided the game. Their penalty last season was never a penalty and one of our goals was offside. The sending off was maybe harsh but his foot was high! Januzaj??????????????? When we signed him I have to say there was a lot of us (me included) thought "get in, great signing" but he should simply be returned from whence he came. I know he's talented but he will never be the right player for a struggling team. I only hope Moyes can see that.
Our home fans aren't very good mate. We've probably got the best set of away fans in the country. Home fans, not so much.
Sadly I partially agree with you - although I'd love to see any other side outside the north east get the type of support our 2 clubs do after the ****e we've all been watching for the last 40+ years. We don't back the team enough at home - the Arsenal game and the crowd singing "we're ****ing ****" to the players (and me nearly getting into a fight) prime example. Hull as well - 20 minutes to go winning 2-0 and, because there was a delay due to the power failure, loads of people leaving. Pisses me off. That said - when we are vocal, the crowd are class!
We were robbed of any chance by a set of in competent officials who were conned by Yann M'Vila theatrics and your 1st and 3rd goals being offside but as they say swings and roundabouts .
Januzaj??????????????? When we signed him I have to say there was a lot of us (me included) thought "get in, great signing" but he should simply be returned from whence he came. I know he's talented but he will never be the right player for a struggling team. I only hope Moyes can see that. Yeh I was excited when he came to us I really thought he would be a great asset And would help us to the next level.maybe if it were in different circumstances He may have done a job for us. However our annual fight for survival is not in his remit and I think if we can send him back ASAP Then get some one in with the heart and belly for the fight ahead.
Any ideas on a Premier League club you think he'd actually fit into? I'm struggling. For our situation (relegation battle), no good. For Man Utd, top 6 in the league, no good. Can't see him playing in a Stoke, Everton or Leicester etc. Ability there, attitude not.
Arsenal maybe, not that he'd be good enough for the first team. He'd probably suit Italy, somewhere that you get as much time on the ball as you like and defenders stand off you.
1 Only the 1st one was offside - proven on MOTD where they placed a line across the pitch when the ball was played - How were M'Vila's theatrics to blame - The full back hung his foot out and I've seen players sent off for much less in our own games - when it happened, at full speed I thought it was a red card as it looked dangerous - only time I knew any different was when I saw the replay which the ref obviously thought too.
Agree with that, his talent alone was good enough to get him into the United side, but then he was rewarded with a new contract and his head filled with helium, LVG saw right through him and dropped him like a sack of spuds. He's not gonna find his feet in this league now with his attitude, so he'll either be sold when you lot return him at the end of the season, or loaned out, again to another team such as Marseille/Lyon/Fenerbache.
You're probably covering at least 50% of his wages, so I'd imagine you've got him until the summer now pal. Also, Moyes doesn't seem to be losing faith in him, just like Jose doesn't seem to be losing faith in Fellaini.
