They are at the top of the League (PL last season), we are mid-table ….. oh, and we are Welsh. Do you honestly think that we would get the 50:50 calls? We should have had a penalty - they then would have had a second yellow …. But guess what not given. Darling mistimed his tackle - not as bad as the Sheffield players made out by rushing in gesticulating, and shouting - ref thinks it must be bad, better listen to the players of the team that’s about to go top of the table …..
Definitely a pen - but their player went down whereas ours stayed on his feet when it would have been a pen (or perhaps not with this ref)
They’re giving it a good go though, if only they would show this level of determination consistently.
Red card perhaps. Our performance much better but we should have taken the chances in the first half and killed them off. Wilder changed tack at half time...Williams plan A didnt. Referee was abysmal especially allowing their mistimed tackles to go on without yellows even. deffo need a centre back from somewhere urgently or we are in trouble.
The was a stat on Sky last Saturday that showed we were one of the best in the Championship re number of first half goals but we were 24th (out of 24) re the second half.
