    Date - 28 September 2019

    Following their deserved away draw at Ashton Gate against Bristol City, followed by a battling defeat away to Premier League Watford in the League Cup, next up for Steve Cooper’s Swansea squad is a home match against Reading.

    Without doubt the most important and memorable of all the previous matches between the sides took place at Wembley in 2011 - the Championship Play-Off final - a match that saw the Swans promoted to the Premier League:

    Promotion <laugh> Nah stay in the championship where we belong. Who want's to be whipping boys . The fans will soon leave in droves and on top of the expense of running costs being a premiership club with a small club......No thank you.....

    Why do we “belong in the Championship” why not League 1 or 2 for example ?

    Nobody belongs in any league. You are in a particular league dependant on how good you are. There is no 'belonging' unless you mean League of Wales?
