I don't know where we can get a win. We should have scored today but we didn't. Thought we looked less of a defensive mess without Darling in there.
Even with 7 extra minutes of injury time we couldn't get a goal, we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, get ready for the dog fight!.....
Very disappointing, we played quite well but the massive difference is the finishing, We created a bucket load of good chances. They played better second half and looked more confident. Luke's still new here, so give him more time. We won't be relegated.
Yes we live in hope of them cutting their losses and selling up, dropping to league 1 should help.....
We have sold every asset of value in the squad to the point that this team has very little monetary value at all, and we make up for the lose of these quality players with cheap temporary loan players, the under investment will now come back and bite the club hard, as we can see from this sad season.
The club must have known and were preparing for the sale of Piroe the season before, and that in itself should have given them the due diligence to hang on to Whittaker, but oh no, let's sell them both, and now we cannot hit a barn door with this front line of ours, and very little progress has been made with our **** defense either, not looking good for the rest of the season, Master Luke will need every bit of the 'force' to be with him, if we are to survive, but for me he's just an apprentice!.......
Trouble is you cannot really tell if Master Luke is any good, since what he has got to work with is hiding any ability he might have, I think we are in the brown stuff now, hope I am wrong but my gut feeling isn't good......
