Stats......same olde story....looking forward to RM response to this hammering... https://www.fotmob.com/match/3619761?status=finished
Forest by far the better team, we are far too stagnant on the ball and simply dozzy off it. Cooper sticking it to us in no uncertain terms. Forest had just 25% possession with 4 goals?
Despite having been a defender, it seems that Martin isn’t able to pick/select a capable defensive unit. With the players at his disposal, he can’t expect to play the way he aspires. A 442 could/would work better with this squad, eg: Play Naughton, Cabango, Bennett and Bidwell as a back 4, A midfield of Laird, Downes, Grimes and Manning (Fulton for Downes?) Piroe and Paterson up top. (If 433, Ntcham for Manning?) Additionally, Hamer just isn't good enough to be a Championship number one.
Hamer beaten now 3 times at his near post and with Brenda looking like half the player he was last season whats a girl to do
Thank goodness we had a good pre match meal....that performance was shocking...all the possession stats said we controlled the game...in our own half sideways backwards slow slow stop again...Captain Marvel is too slow..and yet again we spend too much time passing when there is a chance of shooting....RM s opinion was that mistakes cost us the game....what do we do n training? It’s as if the players are knackered before they start....forget play offs this year....Cooper had us sussed so what did RMs scouts find out about Floret????
[QUOTE="Taffvalerowdy, , Russell's trying to play a brand of football with some players who don't have the requisite skill set , how many times Cabango skinned , he's' no left back as Cooper knew slow as a cart house which is not his fault , if the opposition & the rest of us could see that weakness why couldn't our incumbent ? Bidwell looks like he's going to sold but we still have few games to go before the usual New Year sale so why not play him , tinkering with the defence is not a good idea Grimes is so one footed it was criminal how he either played back or out to the left where Patterson possibly had his worse game today. No one at the back who can switch play ( bring back Ash) Laudebiere isn't the answer on the wing but the amount of space he had at times today and was practically begging for the ball . TBH I couldn't tell who was playing where. at times today We've conceded 8 goals in 3 games all of which were preventable as well .That's too many bad days at the office now. so he'd better start getting his act together or the natives are going to start getting restless
