MOM for me Declan John , terrorised their rightback all game ,and linked up well with Peterson which surprised me when he went off and Ayew canme on but the manager is the manager <laugh>. Decent outing for Wilmot and Cabango who looked solid enough albeit against "weaker" opposition but as a pairing they did ok

Matt how did Peterson get on?

To be fair to Northampton they were a good footballing side and at 0-1 down they looked fairly solid. Thank goodness for Andre Ayew!
Totally agree , their goal was well taken but overall what let them down was the final ball . Niggly buggers though their centre half had Surridge in his pocket all night but its a mans games after all <cheers>

If I'm honest I was a bit disappointed with Surridge. For a potential PL striker he was owned by a League 2 centre half. Their centre forward was far more physical - I would have liked to see him starting for us <laugh>

Swansea City v Northampton Town

Competition - League Cup
Venue - Liberty Stadium
Date - 13 August 2019
Kick off - 19.45

Following their hard fought and deserved draw away to promotion hopefuls Derby County last Saturday, next up for Steve Cooper’s Swansea squad is the visit of Northampton to The Liberty in the League Cup.

That said, I’m going for a 3-1 home win. <cheers>

That’s my one for the season <laugh>
