Herrera and Mata are the only ones who know when to pass, where to pass, when to hold on to the ball or when to shoot. But after that, what our players do in the box is just ridiculous at times. You're left scratching your head. In short, creativity in abundance. The ability to turn it into chances for yourself or your team mates... zilch. Even Depay - a cracking young player with lots of raw talent, but decision making at times that's frustrating to watch. The desire to impress I imagine but I hope someone at the club has had a word. We should be beating Swansea if we want to be challenging for the title. But we should have bought a striker if we were going to challenge for the title. No surprise that both things are linked.
A young lad named Ronaldo was similar to Depay in that respect early in his United career. I'm not worried, it will come and he's the potential to be a class act. Looks to have a good attitude, that much is already clear, and seems to get being a United player. I'm sure we'll sign a striker by Tuesday, watch this space. Or any space really.
So was Nani I'm not worried there either tbh. It's more overconfidence and a desire to make his mark rather than a lack of brains. Our business is done Chief. "There's nay value in the market"
You just like to moan. Sometimes its warranted, other times its not. Your sig should contain the 'everybody panic' gig. I don't think beating Swansea is the key to winning the title tbh. It will help, no doubt but failure to do so wouldn't mean the end of any title challenge. We have effectively spent nothing this window so the chances of us not buying before the deadline are slim. **** knows who.
I've told you before, I merely observe and inform. If you've got wax in your ears I can't help that It's not about beating Swansea, it's about winning games like Swansea. And Newcastle. That's what will be the difference. And it's no surprise that the goals department is where we're lacking which just happens to coincide with the opinion that we need to buy a striker if we were going to challenge for the title. It's highly unlikely we'll be challenging without one. I would have even taken Llorente who was available for free tbh. The idea he's just a target man is bollox if anyone saw him at Bilbao.
I was pretty confident in getting 3 points off you - again , but we've been hijacked by Lawro, he's got us to win ffs, he never does that ! We're ****ed now, no point in turning up
Makes a change from your not so fantastic 4 of ABL's on our board consisting of your good self of course, Diego, United Metth Heads in Red and Laurel, or Hardy. Not sure what he calls himself now
ABLs No such thing DR, think you mean EPL... Everyone Pities Liverpool. We just go on there for moral support and as a shoulder to cry on
I dont blame you for looking over your nieighbours fence and being envious We're everyones 2nd favourite team and also the best board on not606. Fact, I think you like to say
I think that LVG could be poised to throw in Fellaini at 10. It would be interesting to see how he fares. Yes, he is no striker and he probably doesn't create as much as Herrera but he poses a huge threat with his aerial ability and will shake up their CBs. He will be a greater threat at set pieces and I've got the feeling that Swansea will be happy for us to just pass the ball in front of them.
Agree to an extent, but Felli could come on later in the game. Mata and Herrera will pass though them not just in front of them
