With this new hoof-ball philosophy that United seem to have adopted, don't you think you'd be better off bringing Big Sam in as manager? He's an expert in that kind of football, whereas Van Gaal seems completely out of his depth.
We normally pick on the Scousers, but you have been so hospitable we simply couldn't refuse.............
I do beging to wonder how much of a factor this style of play was in demoralising ADM. Perhaps if LVG just tried playing a few games with the shackles off he might just see it too.
I've seen enough of LVG now (both on AND off the pitch) to realise we need to get through the stop-gap of the next 18 months and look towards the next manager coming in and the approach to football we want.
What hoofball was this? Try watching the game. We were actually crying out for some directness instead of the endless pissing about in front of their defence. Both Swansea goals were fast counter attack perfectly executed. The type we used to do. But now don't.
I was responding to the video of the United fan having a rant about United's hoof-ball tactics. I wasn't providing any analysis on the game, I was having a laugh (at your expense).
I'd sack him now and put Giggs in charge with Scholes and Butt etc as his main assistants. Giggs still doesn't look impressed and looks a man biding his time.
No chance. He's nowhere near ready or even remotely qualified. I also don't believe Van Gaal has done enough to deserve being sacked. Best thing is to accept LVG will get us Top 4 next couple of seasons, will have us playing dull football doing so, but hopefully build a decent squad until the next man comes in. It's a stop-gap as I said but I'll be broadly satisfied with that now as I don't honestly believe this spoofer is capable of delivering any more.
Very right, but the thing is we are stuck with van gaal and nothing we can do about that for now. He is so arrogant and will stick with his 'philosophy'. He has made our players afraid of taking chances all because they don't wanna lose the ball. Lvg does have a plan B though which is to bring on fellaini and have every players hoof the ball to him. Pathetic if u ask me. Still doesn't change the fact that Rooney is finished.
Did you watch your own match yesterday by the way? You're not really in a great position to take the piss.
Some top quality player's in that photo. Duncan Edwards,Tommy Taylor,Dennis Violet?,David Pegg? Colin Webster,4th from right, joined The Swans'. Brings back many fond memories.
Indeed. Talking of legends, Bobby Charlton was coming out of the ground as I was leaving. Still signing autographs but he's definitely not 100%. Looks to have on set of altzheimers or something.
