Whoever plays we will get spanked............Oh how i wish for the old days where we had a chance of winning.....Another loss as a banker......
Lawro says: "Francesco Guidolin has only been in charge of Swansea since the end of January, and he missed a couple of games last season because of illness, so it seems a little bit early to be talking about him being on his way out. But that is the way the Premier League works these days, and there is already speculation over Guidolin's future. Playing Manchester City twice in three days is unlikely to help, with City boss Pep Guardiola chasing his 10th victory from 10 games in charge. I think he will get it too. Lawro's prediction: 0-2"
We will keep saying it is too early until one morning we will wake up and find us so far behind the 4th from bottom that it will be too late......I hope not but i cant see anyone better wanting to join us, Bloody hell the top experienced managers were turning us down when we were a good team. We should never have got rid of Sousa because he had the measure of Jenkins......And there lays our problem as nobody that we need will ever be interested while we have someone who is as short sighted as him...
It's amazing that Guidolin takes the brunt of the critics while Jenkins skips on by with his pants falling down with pockets of money ., whistling away ...unnoticed with his stupidity . His 7 million pound CB looks a shadow of the money spent , Monks 3 year contract lasted 3 months and cost us a fortune Guidolin was thrown into the deep end at the end of last season , and is again at the start of this season with the heart of the defence ripped out in Williams , our top transfer ever yet to start in Baston .....Ki , a few minutes so far ...., Taylor , a few minutes so far. Amat with a few minutes last season and flung into a leadership role this season . Like I say , " Great Expectations " around here .

Soon as Sousa left we rose to the Premier League the next season and have been there for 6 seasons since , and MAKING money in the net transfer market dai . so you'll have to try harder to make your point ....if there is one
Taff have to say, what I had seen up to Wednesday had been poor, but did himself proud and deserves another chance. I would like to see tomorrow, Fab Naughton, VDH, Amat or Fernandez Kingsley Barrow Cork Britton Montero Siggy Baston. What I expect to see is Fab Naughton, Amat Fernandez Kingsley Barrow or Routledge, Cork, Ki, Fer Siggy Llorente
[QUOTE="the roofer, "Like I say , " Great Expectations " around here ." What the Dickens are you on about now, roof?
"We should never have got rid of Sousa." I was out of the country when Sousa left, but I understood that he left of his own volition to join a "bigger club", viz , Leicester. Was that not the case ?
Well it's a 'Tale of Two Cities' tomorrow and I know we are having 'Hard Times' at the moment so let's hope the Liberty isn't a 'Bleak House' tomorrow
I remember saying at the start of the season about how wrong it is that the blame will fall on Guido despite the lack of quality transfers by the board... But then that quickly changed when he started setting us up ultra defensive every single game. For a first 11, we have the quality to hurt teams. We are quite frail defensively with Williams leaving, so surely the goal should be to try and outscore teams with the quality we have in attack. Not stifle our attack by playing the diamond with our strikers completely isolated. Not even the best teams can sit back and defend all game, yet Guido persists with this formation week in week out. We haven't scored a first half goal so far this season. Why do you think that is? The only reason we are scoring at all is because we revert to our usual formation once we are losing the game. Then once playing our favoured formation, lo and behold, we score! For me, the board do take some of the blame for their failure to bring in a quality replacement for Ash. However, Guidolin is the one right now that is killing the club.
It's a real Mystery how you and Our Mutual Friend(s} Edwin Drood, and Martin Chuzzlewit have found yourselves all of a twist over this particular fixture. We could meet up pre-match in The Old Curiosity Shop, have a beer, and sing A Christmas Carol or two, before Little Dorrit does her party piece with Barnaby Rudge. Nicholas Nickleby and David Copperfield will be coming. They both start work at Dombey and Sons' Old Curiosity Shop soon, and are most anxious to discuss that article you found in The Pickwick Papers about that fellow Boz. Until then.
