I really want Fulham to win tonight. Not only will the Baggies fail to progress, but Fulham will then only be 2 points behind them, & 1 ahead of Brentford. If Brentford then lose on Wednesday, they will stay in 4th, at the most critical point of the season. This must surely be entering even the thickest head in their team & for the first time, generating genuine pressure. And loads of it. Put simply, I think Brentford have had minimal experience of pressure in this chase to the end. So easy being the chaser (comparatively), but a whole new ball game where there is now more skin in the game, & perhaps a team or teams chasing them.
