( I think he appreciated the generous applause and best wishes he received when he was subbed ) We played well enough without truly going for a second goal which was disappointing , was that because the side felt they were good enough to contain the oppositions threat. I don't know ( a dangerous tactic if true ). Chance taken in the first half would have made the second all the more bearable but a first league home win in front of an appreciative and at times extremely noisy crowd was enjoyable and an vast improvement on some previous games we've had to witness
