Joel Latibeaudiere comes into the Swansea City side for this afternoon’s Championship clash with Bristol City.

The former Manchester City defender takes the place of Kyle Naughton, who drops to the bench.

Brandon Cooper is also included in the matchday squad following his recovery from an ankle injury.

Freddie Woodman remains in goal, with Latibeaudiere joining midweek match winner Ben Cabango and Marc Guehi in the Swansea back three.

Connor Roberts and Jake Bidwell are the wing-backs, with captain Matt Grimes, Conor Hourihane and Yan Dhanda in midfield.

Andre Ayew and Jamal Lowe lead the line again, while the visitors include former Swansea loanee Kasey Palmer in their starting XI.

Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Joel Latibeaudiere, Ben Cabango, Marc Guehi; Connor Roberts, Yan Dhanda, Matt Grimes (captain), Conor Hourihane, Jake Bidwell; Andre Ayew, Jamal Lowe.

Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Ryan Manning, Jay Fulton, Korey Smith, Morgan Whittaker, Paul Arriola, Kyle Naughton, Ollie Cooper, Brandon Cooper.

Bristol City: Daniel Bentley, Jack Hunt, Adam Nagy, Famara Diedhiou, Adrian Mariappa, Nahki Wells, Tomas Kalas (captain), Zak Vyner, Tyreeq Bakinson, Ryley Towler, Kasey Palmer.

Substitutes: Max O'Leary, Antoine Semenyo, Taylor Moore, Sam Pearson, Sam Bell, Alex Scott, Tommy Conway, Han-Noah Massengo, Steven Sessegnon.

And we need to win,....Only Naughton benched so we go as we were again but please move the ball quicker it might give Ayew and Lowe half a chance...

I presume Cooper is hoping Lowe accidently get's a goal off his arse and some confidence returns, because I don't think his current form deserves a place above Whittaker or Arriola (unless they're still not up to starting)?

Tony Harrington referee of the Cherries v Hornets had a card happy day it seems...a plethora of yellow cards a player from each side sent off in time added on...9 minutes of it...and Bournemouth won one nil.....

Good positive 25 from us, great to see. Like a different team today, I know Bristol have had an awful period, but this is much better from the Swans. Need to make it count though .

Possibly the best we’ve played as a team for awhile , movement is good and the passing crisp and accurate

Their goalie has kept them in the match...ref should have sent their player Towler off for a second foul but chickened out so Pearson pulled him off with a minute to go to the break....best performance for a good while..
