So level with Potter’s team, but 5pts behind Cooper’s first season, and a huge 22 behind last year

Mono fans travelled to Peterborough and back in the same day and no doubt some were in work the next day...it’s all excuses now don’t forget the team travel to some games by plane the day before and travel back on the evening of the game by plane....

Still RM now has nearly 2 weeks to get the players used to travelling long distances on coaches.

I'm fed up of hearing that verbal diarrhea about traveling from the bloke.

Well Cardiff is a round trip of c100 miles - can’t use that excuse this time.

I would be delighted if Russ - even if only for the Cardiff game - abandoned “The Process” and instead picked the best team/formation available to us from the players that he has in the squad (be that 5-3-2, 4-4-1-1 or whatever) and regard Cardiff as a one-off. It’s a game that could set him apart from any Swansea Manager that went before him.

Not one of Billy Lucas, John Toshack, Roberto Martinez or Brendan Rodgers achieved the League Double.

    Over to you Russ <cheers>

Sounds like I missed a cracker of a game. full of pace intensity and no little skill , right that's the assessment of Birmingham , over with, how did we do ?

If we play like that in Legoland, the result won’t make pretty reading …

I might dare to say that on current form they are better than us :bandit: but hopefully the players will have some clue about the significance of this fixture and give 100% for the cause.

I think I’d go with the following team and formation against Cardiff:

    Hamer
    Christie Bennett Cabango Naughton
    Smith Downes Fulton Grimes
    Paterson
    Piroe

No effing about at the back, getting stuck in and not giving an inch in midfield, and nicking goals via Piroe and Paterson.

Wishful thinking as I’ve no doubt that Russ will stick to The Process ……..

It's a shame, we've actually got some firepower if we went forward with conviction.

Not only going forward ,we have a more than decent squad to be able to play better than we currently do. Stubbornness by our Manager is not an attractive trait to have and an unwillingness to adapt is even worse
