This when Amat will have to rise to the occasion , although lets not discount seeing more of Monk Swansea captain and central defender Ashley Williams has been ruled out for up to a month forcing him out of Premier League matches against Arsenal, Southampton and Sunderland. The Welsh international may also miss the final games of World Cup Qualifying as Wales hope to end the campaign on a high against Macedonia and group leaders Belgium. It is an ankle injury that will keep the 29-year-old out of action and will be a big loss to the Welsh team as they also host St Gallen and Kuban Krasnodar in the Europa League through October. Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is wary of Williamsâ injury and is reluctant to let the Wales captain leave for international duty with a long and busy fixture schedule running up to Christmas, the Daily Star report. âAsh is a player who will always want to play, even with some pain or small injuries,â said Laudrup. âBut you have to remember that when the rest of the players relax for a week, he has to go and train and play with Wales and then come straight back to us, for seven games in three weeks. âThe fact he hasnât been playing means we have to be careful â because, remember, we are only in October. And after the next break in November we just go on and play and play and play. âI will never say to a player âdonât go with the national teamâ, but the fact he is not 100 per cent and Wales have no possibility of going through, means we have to at least talk about it. âIt is a possibility he might not play before those games. I donât want to be pessimistic, but let us just see.â Laudrup is looking to ruin Arsene Wengerâs celebrations this weekend, having been at Arsenal for 17 years, as they host the league leaders in Saturdayâs late Premier League kick-off.
Yeah, still not sure about Amat, he seems to be a mood player ... he plays as well as how things go. But the lad is young ... hoping he will rise to the occasion.
Hope for Pozuelo, but think Laudrup is going to use Dyer instead. Pozuelo would be better against Mertesacker. please log in to view this image
An injury to Ash or Chico is the injury I have been dreading. I feel we lack a third centre half of real quality - a key position that the opposition will attack. I hope I am proved wrong by Amat, but my gut reaction is one of panic!
Vorm (capt), Tiendalli, Amat, Flores, Davies, Canas, Shelvey, de Guzman, Dyer, Routledge, Michu. SUBS: Tremmel, Alfei, Taylor, Britton, Pozuelo, Vazquez, Bony

Cardiff get the winner ! Stunning goal from Mutch. Plenty of shocks today - both Manchester sides lose. Hopefully one more to come.
Why are De Guzman and Dyer playing instead of Poz, and why isn't Bony playing please log in to view this image
I reckon Bony is on the bench so that we can try to control the midfield more due to the defensive changes that were needed to cover injury, so think Laudrup is trying to cover them more. Take Canas, Shelvey and JDG, all 3 can play good defensively.
