Will be training ina. Couple of weeks. Will be a other 2 till he can play. I still can not believe the Samed Jan shout has came off. He is like some mythical beast, only spoken about, ever seen.
No mention of poveda still, one sprint against Derby and he’s vanished off the face of the earth, never even in the background of any clips the club put out when all other injured lads are
Whats happening with Poveda, or is he just gonna take the pish and take a years wage from us contributing feck all like Bradley Dack did?
Good point that Roberts playing from the left produced a goal, I've never seen him smash a shot like that after cutting in from the right. It might do him some good to try a 'new' position and Mayenda definitely looks happier on the right.
A big fair play to all those travelling. It’s a great effort any time of the year, never mind less than 2 weeks before Christmas. A bit gutted I’m not bothering but I hope we do the business for all the lads & lasses who’ll be there. Ha’way the lads
Huge news from the physio room. Ian Poveda is BACK in training (for now) https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...and-explains-salis-abdul-samed-latest-4907347
With the Watson situation that’s good news especially with the amount of travelling and games coming up … … everything seems quite well planned out. It’s good, imo, that players aren’t being rushed back, something supporters have often complained about in the past. Now it seems there are some complaining players aren’t being rushed back. It’s a case of either trusting the club or not … … if not then there’s always something to complain about I suppose.
I'd like to register a complaint I haven't got a lot to complain about Well not compared to say 4 years ago Standard of complaints are slipping and I'm not happy Mr Angry
Just been talking to Alesik* in cleadon one stop. Told him he'd get minutes tomorrow and score the winner. Nice lad very pleasant.
Isnt it a really low wage, incentivised heavily to performances? Even so, it looked an odd deal when we did it I thought. Hope it comes off in the long term but purely on ability I am not sure he is right for us.
I really hope he is as good as some think. Sometimes players become better or more important players to fans when they are out injured. Be great to have a serious option in the middle of the park to challenge the lads who have so far nailed down their spots. If he is good enough to challenge, then him and Browne being back in makes us look a really strong midfield going into the second half of the season imo.
Thanks RTB and all who contribute love the match day thread, queer one the weekend hopefully we nick a win be interesting to see how we line up I’ll go 2-1 the lads. I doff me cap to all those attending safe travels and enjoy COME ON
