If James had signed for Leeds, Brentford would be in the Quarters now, not us!........................
Real shame that Leeds never got the deadline day transfer of Daniel James over the line aye!............................ The pace from James for that second goal was ridiculous.....................
Dan James would have beaten anyone in world football with that space ahead of him today!!.................................
Good win after that first half. Dan was excellent and they couldn't live with his pace. Celina excellent again but defensively we leave ourselves wide open. Still onwards to the quarter finals. Milwall home please
James's pace was the best i have seen for years and will be a wanted man in the summer.....I'm glad that we were not prepared to sell him what leeds wanted him for because whatever they offered we can triple that come summer and that would be just for his pace......I would start the price at no less than £15m and it could be higher than that imo..
Yeah - whatever James and the rest are sold for will just go to make up the shortfall in income. I struggle to think when selling a player has had any benefit to us..... Gylfi for £45 Million ish - Llorente for £11 M ish - and we end up relegated. Money means nothing then. Just as it will when we have the next sell-off. In terms of next round - obviously Millwall at home should be the tie we have the best chance of winning........ it is bizarre how we've ended up in the last 8 though. I think I saw a comment somewhere - maybe on twitter, that we are like England in the world cup - we've sneaked through to the latter stages without having to beat anyone of real stature. Villa away was the toughest match we've had but we hammered them.
Yes pay our debts off first. As long as we stay in the Championship while the Americans sort out the mess however long it takes then i will be happy....So far so good what they are doing....
