I am sick for potter, the lads and all the supporters at home and all around the world,, VAR should have been used just like the other games because it was an F A cup match and not because it was a championship game. It gave us an unfair disadvantage over the other games that did use VAR......PeP has apologised to Swansea city so he knows full well they are lucky to go through curtius of the officials......Nevertheless we have lost a lot of money and a chance of going to Wembley....I wish them well but i will be rooting for Wolves from here on in for the tournament...

Mark Clattenberg was correct though - even though VAR should have been in use, the officials should be getting those calls right anyway.

 

Garth Crooks has both Sterling and Aguero in his team of the week...... what for ? a dive and an offside header combined with a fortunate 'own goal' penalty ??
I looked at the 'select your own team of the week' option, and the only Swans player in the list is Nordfeldt !!! No defenders, midfielders or forwards. Just our goalie. Why wasn't Celina an option - at least he scored a goal worthy of the match!!

 

Clattenberg is totally right the two decisions would / should have been given by the totally inept/.cowardly linesman, in both incidents he had a clear sight of Vickers toe poking the ball away from the smirking sterling and the Agureo leg ( you know the appendage) that you're allowed to score with .

 

Only two officials that are worthy are Clattenberg (problem is he upset the FA) and Sian Massey. She would have done a far better job than that prick Marriner. Also I bet she would have said it was no pen and flagged for the offside.

 

My mistake. The Swans' actually beat Man City 3-2. Now, who are they playing in the semi's ?
