After the Chelsea game that's 4 of the top 6 out of the way for the season.

    Just got back in.

Incredible to think that when Clements joined us 6 games ago we were rock bottom of the table with a measly 12 points.

We now have 12 more - 24 points from 25 games is bordering on acceptable. If we can "do the business" in March then we will be within touching distance of safety ..... but as someone said on the previous page "it's a funny old game"......

Thought that Mawson was excellent today and that Fernandez had his best game of the season. This appears to have the makings of a decent CB partnership.

Carroll & Olsson both did well today - great goal by Olsson: I suspect Taylor would have been standing on the half-way line rather than getting on the end of Llorente's & Gylfi's fantastically weighted passes.

Naughton & Cork both did well, I thought.

    Fer improved second half.

Not safe yet - but on our way

We are very capable of getting a result at Chelsea imo, It wont be easy but tell me a game that is easy. Our confidence must be sky high ATM and Hull have shown it's possible.....

The must win game was won and won well.
    Well done to all.
Leicester were poor and I'm happy with that.
Thought our midfield played really well.
Early on final passes not finding their target.
    Two cracking goals.
I put the mockers on Dyer by betting him at 10/1 to score anytime.

Have to say I'm really starting to be impressed by this young guy. Comes across really well in interviews and looks like he's got Ash's range of passing and very calm in possession and with the experience he's getting will just get better.

Personally, if given the choice of John Stones or Alfie Mawson, I'd go for Alfie every time

You should go back and read some of the posts you have made before you ask " Is there something wrong with you"

I see Mawson as the new Williams. Am I getting carried away? Don't think so. His positional play is improving all the time, great in the air, he organises those around him (did anyone else notice him shouting during the game?), can score goals - something that Williams rarely did - and imo he is a future Captain. I think Cork is way too quiet but Mawson doesn't have the seniority yet. Just you watch.

I think the problems this season may have not been the signings but the choice of management (especially Brad Bobbley).

If I were to rate our signings I'd say now under PC.

Llorente 9/10 (his commitment and professionalism is highly commendable)

    Baston 2/10 (still hoping/wishing he'll come good)

Mawson 9/10 (if he continues he's definitely our best signing in recent years)

Fer 7/10 (his effort is sometimes debatable but can't disregard his vital goals at the first half of our season)

    VDH 5/10 (average player)

Carroll 8/10 (gives us that energy in midfield, maybe a bargain compared to Allen)

Narsingh 7/10 (hard to rate him ATM but so far looks the real deal)

Ollson 8/10 (100% improvement on Taylor and his attacking threat is what we've been missing)
