    Fair play to Monk he did the right sub in taking Routledge off, what a difference with Ki on and a change of formation to our midfield diamond, got Manure in our pocket now..........<laugh>

    Really proud of our team and club, I watched the game in the Commercial in Killay, and when that second goal went in, the pub was bouncing!!......<laugh>

    Fine result against a Man U side that is much improved IMO. Better than last season and at times they played their best football of this season. First twenty minutes I feared for us. Bloody hell how we miss Montero.

    Having said that, a disciplined, workmanlike performance and it just goes to show what you can do to teams when you have someone in the side who makes chances for himself and sets up others. Ayew outstanding today. <applause>

    What I liked was that we didn't fold after Utd went ahead, a lot of teams just seam to buckle and then let another 2 or 3 in against them.

    Yep we did really well. It does worry me somewhat how much we miss Montego, but I am impressed how we still managed to find a way to create chances.
    The substitution changed everything, suddenly Golfing looked dangerous and Kitchen added control.
    What a great day.

    It was a reaction to the "Routs brings nothing" comments which seemed a little harsh when, on the evidence of the first half, Ayew hadn't exactly set the match on fire either.

    The fact that Ayew has scored 3 goals in four games and at least one assist clearly shows that he is an upgrade on Dyer and Routledge - he is going to be a fantastic player for us, there's no argument there. And changing to the diamond after conceding the goal by bringing on Ki for Routs was again a good tactical move which paid dividends. No argument there either.

    4th place after 4 games which Chelsea and Man utd already played is a start well beyond my expectations. Brilliant!
