Well, I’m sitting here at HT pretty dejected. Their midfield and attacking play is so much better than ours. We are being ripped apart at times. Need to change the shape.
We have had some bad games against Norwich, and this one is up there as bad as any Lambert defeat of the past, was not going to watch this one, as I did not have enough confidence in our game plan. One to forget me thinks .....
An embarrassing afternoon at the Liberty. We started off playing some attractive football but all that was lost as we succumbed to a Norwich side that was athletic, organised, efficient and clinical in the final third. We had three chances in the second half and missed the lot. Eventually that will suck the energy and life out of any team and that’s exactly what happened as the final quarter was played in an increasingly deserted Liberty. WBA must be licking their lips at the prospect of playing a team that plays a creative midfielder at left back. It’s time for Potter to stop putting square pegs in round holes and for the Board to do some good business in January.
Bad day at the office where not a lot went to plan.....No problem we all get them and 1-4 flattered Norwich at the end of the day. They deserved the win though. Poor defending with the usual chances off target woeful again.....We should not play Bony anymore if we are to sell him or nobody will buy him.....Roll on January i say...
Disagree Dai - in some respects 1-4 flattered the Swans. They were more incisive and dangerous than us.
Stats.... Swansea City 1 - 4 Norwich City #FotMob https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/2791539?status=finished
The legend that is Angel Rangel scores a brace to ensure QPR climb above the Swans in the league table........…..
Fer was poor, very poor and imo his poorness is the most consistent thing about him ,lazy, poor touch and can't find his man , yes he sometimes wins the ball back but invariably it was him that lost it in the first place .he's now captain but at least that doesn't protect him from being subbed at half time and deservedly so. Grimes imo at least made some sort of impact in the second half and is better player in that position
Agree - there are certain games where Fer looks a class above everyone else on the pitch, then there are games like yesterday when he was simply terrible. Grimes and Naughton did better in midfield than Fer and Fulton. (That said, Norwich had arguably already won the game by half-time, so it could be that Grimes and Naughton had an ‘easier ride’.)
