And that won't last long, we will be in the bottom three most of this season, going to be long and hard season to swallow after the last few seasons we have had. Something else that I spotted today also, is Abraham's fitness is suspect, how slow was he today? not sure he will last the whole season, and with Bony unfit and out as well, not a good start for our forwards, cracks already appearing with this paper thin squad.............
Only a change of manager will give any sort of boost.....We need new ideas from a manager with experience.......Shakespeare anyone
Trust me........as olde as I am......with this management we are going down. I take no pleasure in posting this. The truth hurts. We are s"ite.
Who knows what deal has been struck to ensure Sanches has first team football. On current form he shouldn't be anywhere near our first team. I'd go as far as saying he is the worst/most ineffective player to pull on a Swans shirt in the Premiership era.
Now that says something given some of our "wonderful" signings ...... Vasquez, Schecter, Vangelis Moras, David N'Gog etc.... But you are spot on!
He repeatedly lost possession in the first half, playing straight in to Leicesters counter attacking style. Not to take him off at half time was criminal. As soon as he went off and Routledge came on we improved. That wasn't the only issue today though. Poor tactics. Laborious build up play. No striker on the bench. New signings with splinters in their backside, injured or AWOL. We're a shambles.
Sanches is regarded in the football world as a world class player but he has to play with let's be honest here players who in reality is well below his standard he is use to and there is no way on this earth we will see the real Sanches. Why we got him is a mystery as you can't be expected to put in a world class performance when your teammates are poor. Another panic buy and the wrong type of player....
If he was world class he would be in the Bayern Munich first X1. On current form he shouldn't be anywhere near our Club. Clement will have to perform a miracle to get him up to Premier League level. For the clubs sake I hope he does it.
We need to play 2 up front with 4 midfielders and 4 defenders . 4 - 3 - 3 is committing to many attackers and having 3 midfielders is leaving us without wingers really . I think we'll get as much attack with Bony and Abraham compared to the 3 up front , and be more competitive with 4 midfielders , including two out and out wingers .
I think we've been so bad and confidence has sapped so much it's a case of small steps to build the confidence back. Obviously a great result at a tough place to go and from what I have read and heard (didn't see the game) we played some good stuff first half. We have some good players, just need the right manager to make them knuckle down and work hard. That said, some very familiar comments on this thread that could be written by Leicester fans about us. Seems you are in a similar boat
Nah... What we need is a new manager, new chairman, new owners and new players !!!!!! We won't get none of these so we can play any formation you care to choose and it won't matter....We are screwed and have been sold down the river big time.....Championship, Div one and Div two beckons and this lot deserve it....
