    Barclays Premier League
    Date - Saturday, 23rd December 2017
    Kick Off -15:00
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

Following yet another defeat on the road, this time at the hands of Everton, PC and his men are really in the Last Chance Saloon - defeat should surely see Clement given his cards and the team destined for relegation.

Not only that, but Jenkins should either have the decency to walk or he should be shown the door.

It's time for the Team, Coaching Staff and Jack Army to give 100% - anything less against a rejuvenated Palace will see the Swans cut adrift and be the 'Sunderland' of this season.

The performances at home have been ponderous and boring - when was the last time we were 'entertained'? At least if we played good football and lost, it would be 'better' than the inept offerings served up of late.

Including the first meeting in December 1920, the Swans have played Palace on 28 occasions, winning 13, drawing 10, and losing just 5.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the Swans ran out 5-4 winners in a remarkable match.
Substitute Fernando Llorente scored twice in stoppage time as Swansea recorded their first win since the opening day of the season.

The Liberty Stadium witnessed an astonishing seven goals scored after the break and four in 11 second-half minutes.

Swansea were 3-1 ahead before Palace produced an extraordinary fightback to take a 4-3 lead.

It seemed as if the visitors would end their five-match losing run in the league, but then up popped substitute Llorente with two late goals as the ground erupted on the full-time whistle.

Looking ahead to Saturday, I can see nothing other than yet more heartache: 1-3 to Palace

Great post Taff, can't fault it one bit, only way we will win is if we start the same 11, and play with higher tempo, Bony is a worry, as Abraham is off the boil in my view, but we need to mark their front man out of the game.... <ok>

It's nailed on you'll beat us! Swans have been a bogey team for Palace for ages! Obviously we're on a roll but no Benteke he's suspended, you'll have the physical presence of Bakary Sako to deal with tho ! he's a giant not nimble tho.

Britton and Toshack to run the team. Surely we have a better RB in the U23s than Naughton?

There is going to be a bad atmosphere at the Liberty on Saturday and the last thing the players need is for the fans to get on their backs. They need us to stand up, stewards permitting:emoticon-0148-yes: and get behind them.

Angel Rangel isn't in the under 21s.
(Didn't PC Plod say Clucas could play anywhere in defence!)

If Leon takes the manager's seat it will bounce.
Don't think he's the answer but for a one off it would get the crowd on side.

I don't think for one second that it was pure coincidence that Levein sat next to and was in deep conversation with John Toshack at the West Brom game - I suspect that had we not won that game, Levein would have acted that same evening.

Perhaps the cheap option will be Tosh Senior supported by Leon & Cameron. Hope not.....

Perhaps contractually, the Yanks can't get shot of him without a 'humongous' golden handshake.....

Arguably an inspired choice by Huw - if Clement was still there, the focus and anger would have been directed at Huw himself.

Now the Jack Army will get behind, and give 100% for Leon.....

JT wouldn't take it on but I'm sure he'll be only too happy to advise and assist (possibly next CEO?). He was impressed with the set up the players when he visited recently.
