As kids who attended school in the late 50s early 60s we all had a favorite team besides the Swans and it was natural because as young boys we wanted to feel like winners.....I liked Arsenal and still look for their results today and only when they play the swans do i want them to lose......
My second team were Chelsea with Tommy Docherty at the helm. Peter Osgood refused to sign his autograph when England under 21`s played at the Vetch. I never liked him after that.
I can never get too excited by any other team unless it is a real underdog challenge such as Iceland v England. Good to see in recent years more kids in Swansea where our shirts. I know that it was debated to death but an increase in capacity could have kept that going. Now the lack of chance for local people to get tickets has led to more kids choosing the glamour teams to support!
There are others but...... Record home defeat:[36] 1–6 against Bradford Park Avenue, 14 September 1946
