I remember it. I was at the original match as a 9 year old behind the goals at the open end. I seem to remember we were leading but then Palace took a 2-1 lead - maybe Gerry Francis getting a goal, but we equalised very late in the game which took it to a replay.
A toss of the coin decided the venue. Had Palace won the toss, the game would have taken place somewhere in London.
I see Roy in moaning that we wouldn't change the date of the game from tonight until tomorrow, so they could get another days rest after playing on Sunday. Oh bless them. Also moan number two, that he wont be able to play Ayew against us.
If his complaints are kosher, I have some sympathy with the game being played tonight and not tomorrow. Had the boot been on the other foot, Swansea would have probably moaned. They have taken Ayew on loan and the contract apparently states that he cannot play against his parent Club. No cause for complaint there, Roy. A contract is binding. If you didn't like the terms, then it shouldn't have been accepted.
I was there that night. I remember Richie Morgan was the Cardiff Manager at the time and he was wandering around the tunnel before kick-off. So the Swans’ fans chanted ‘Richie Morgan, Richie Morgan, What’s it like to see a crowd? What’s it like to see a crowd?“

Spare a thought for me out here in Crete lads, it’s monsoon season, I have never ever seen so much rain in 30 years of coming out here, it is emptying down big time!!!!!............
See that Dai’s rain dance has worked.... you shouldn’t have upset him Phil - he’s all powerful, you know.....
It's like I went into the shower and when I came out someone had changed all the players of Swansea City.
Well he’s had a good chat to his uncle Thor the thunder god, because it hasn’t stopped thundering all day........
I remember that game all too well as I had an interview in London and told the guy interviewing me I had to get the train to Cardiff due to the game! I got the job
