of course you are safe in mid table even before the season starts! Can I just say Wigan and that's it really.
Fear not guys you have absolutely no reason to worry at all. Your practically guaranteed 3 points against us. I think since 2005 we have lost every starting game of the season. We've all learned to accept the inevitable.
I come back every two years and fook everything else the high light is always getting down to loftus road with a gang of mates and cheering on the R's.
Hah id rather go into it not expecting anything to be honest. That way I can only be pleasantly surprised
I'm not here for an argument, I'm just here to give a fact as most people seem to think we will be a pushover. Look at your recent record at Carrow Road, and weep.
Just wondering what will happen at Swansea (and, I suppose, Liverpool) now that Laudrup has arrived and Rodgers has gone. Will Laudrup stick with the holding/passing play that Swansea have been used to for a couple of years or will he have other ideas? If he does then can the current Swansea team adapt to a different style? Will Rodgers expect 'Pool to hold on to the ball and pass across the back four to keep the possession stats high? From what I have seen Liverpool don't play that way and they have some pretty big egos at the club who might not be too happy to have to jog about for 75% of the game without a touch of the ball (Suarez/Carroll in particular). I have no idea how Laudrup sets his teams up so I can only guess at a different formation he may bring to the club unless he was chosen to manage because he sets his teams out in a similar way to how Swansea have been used to. Norwich have bragging rights over QPR because of their results against us in the last two seasons but I think they are going to be fragile this season especially if the lump Holt does one and leaves. It is always nice to get one over on any of the teams you come up with so I think Swansea, Norwich and Rangers are always going to have an eye out for each other's results. Ask Swansea and Norwich if they would be happy to have to play Rangers during the first two games of the new season and I reckon they'd be chuffed to bits bearing in mind we stayed up by the skin of our/Bolton's teeth. Based on league position we'd still be seen as the easier touch.
Our style of play will continue like it has for the last 3 managers, laudrup has been hired because his ethos is the same as ours. We hope it will give us a more cutting edge up front considering he was one of the best forwards of his time. As for Liverpool he will try and adapt them, I think he will fail but there you go.
