Posting a bit early as I can feel Hilts chomping at the bit.
So a period of footballing, national unity comes to an abrupt end with a South Wales derby.
Our cousins from down west visit the rust free Cardiff City Stadium, a stadium they affectionately call Legoland. I've heard they'll be bringing some spare bricks ( at least that's what I think was said).
Although certainly in my long lifetime, I can't remember this game being played at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. I'm surprised commercial TV companies didn't want this live - unless I've missed something.
Nothing much to play for in terms of Championship status but pride and the unthinkable possibility of the first ever double.
Just a quick shout out to Taffvalerowdy who's posted an excellent match day thread on the Jacks forum
It'll be interesting to see how our developing, new style will hold up against a side that seems to put possession before anything else. Could make for a boring encounter but could play into our hands given our propensity to be at our most attacking best in the last quarters of games.
There we go folks. Fill yer boots.
Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds

Bit nervous about this one given the high stakes of a possible 1st double (still gets me, a remarkable stat).
Swans wanting possession and us happy to play on the counter might help us.
As you say cling, little to play for other than bragging rights.
It'll be a very different game from the 1st one. Just hope the result is different too.

Lets hope the Max Boyce army are sent home with no points.

At least its a bubble trip so they have to go by organised coaches. Therefore their formidable firm the Yoof squad led by Johnny Parada Brains and his trusty lieutenant Tank wont get lost.

I wonder if the Den Haag fans will show up.

They could hijack the coach and end up in Merthyr?

It dawned on me this afternoon on the 8th green that this game is all about on us<yikes>

Personally I could do without it and all the associated stress and adhering to superstitions.

I am though confident City can do the business and send those upstarts back to their rust buckets with their tails between their legs.

Always seemed to remember these games kicking off 12.00 on a Sunday.
3pm Saturday, asking for trouble?

We're as surprised as you. I read somewhere that it's a bubble trip for Swansea fans. Fingers crossed.
The walk up through Canton will be wading through empty cans and bottles. The air in the stadium will be like down by Brains Brewery<whistle>
