Yes cannot argue with what he said, read that this morning, we will be propping up the table for the second season in a row in December, has any team ever done the great escape twice from this position?

 

Jason Cundy is a twat. I was listening to that on the way home from work last night. I was screaming at the radio, not because of his name calling, but because of his refusal to say that diving is cheating. He was asked directly several times if diving is cheating and all he could say is "it's bending the rules" or "it's the defenders fault for giving the opportunity for the attacker to go down". FFS it's like victim blaming " well your 'onour, she was wearing a short skirt - she was asking for it".
The guy is an arsehole - and his opinion holds no weight with me as he lacks credibility by his refusal to accept the truth that going down easily is actually diving and cheating.

I did not here his comment live the way you did, only read passages as reported by walesonline, I agree with your view of him though, he's not someone I would normally give the time of day for, but his statement on player recruitment and poor transfers and team quality are spot on, and I think that is what Taff is focusing on with this thread.......

When the defender enters the penalty area to try and get the ball then his tackle must be spot on because if he is slightly off and he makes contact with the player then the player will go down and in the majority of cases he will award a penalty.....He will also award a penalty if he is at an awkward angle and his view as he sees it looks to have impeded the player and not touched the ball......Penalty decisions are the most difficult and controversial calls the ref has to make and in the majority of cases he gets it right but he also calls it wrong sometimes and until we are allowed instant video playback then mistakes will be made.......

What hacks me off is there are about 10 - 12 clubs that are pretty hopeless and it would have taken very little to be half way up the table.
