Exhibition time against a very beaten looking Malmo side. Fair play Michu / Bony looks like it could develop into something pretty serious. I think michu can expect some closer attention than he got off these though. I know he's good enough to deal with it but Malmo gave him the freedom of the pitch. Very good performance, maybe all that confidence isn't misplaced after all.......

Judging by that performance, we can go a long way in Europe, and my opinion of the Utd game has changed, we can beat them first game of the season
Well I enjoyed that - I think I deserve a post match snifter! I wonder what Moyes made of it - if there is a manager that has countered us extremely well it has been him with Everton. I expect Utd to try and play an up tempo game and push us high up the pitch - will be interesting. But before then we have to see the 2nd leg out - I hope we can keep a clean sheet but I am going for 1-2 (6 - 1 on aggregate).
Think about it, they had two to deal with, Bony they knew about from his goal exploits in Holland, I think all clubs will have the same problem. It should be good for us, fear for other teams.

Comfortable performance without really stepping on the gas. You can only play what is in front of you and your lads did a professional job, can't see Malmo turning it around in the 2nd leg.
