No Gylfi, No Llorente, but we still know where the net is then. . . .

Abraham is quality. With a quality creator in the middle he'll get a sackful. Tbh, I'm not as worried now if Llorente does go.

I think it's very likely that if Llorente goes, Bony will be coming in.

I was hoping McBurnie would have been shipped out on koan out of the way.

Still need pace on the wing and a replacement for Gylfi in the middle.

Feel a lot more confident about the season now.

Looked like a tidy performance although the opposition were pretty dire for a Serie A team.

Clement has obviously been working hard with who he has , I'm very confident with the team we have . Including Siggy and Llorente , or their possible replacements if need be . The squad are believing in their manager it seems , been awhile since that has been the case IMO.Well done .

I was just about to ask how you back home rated the opposition?

It was just a friendly, so I won't get carried away. Sampdoria just went through the motions. Crazy own goal. I think Abraham punched the ball into the net. Fer mom.
Sigurdsson wasn't sitting with the subs, so reasonable to assume that his tenure at the Club is well and truly over.

I almost hate to say this but Fer had another superb outing as did Abraham and Carroll . Another start for Britton , another clean sheet . Our CB's have minutes with each other now , I expect Mawson and Fernandez to be more calm with each other this season . Naughton and Olsson should see the lion's share of games . Clement seems to know what he wants from the players and the players are conforming well . BRING IT ON !!!!

Routs is capable of a performance like that about 1 in 20 games. He's far to inconsistent to play in the siggy role and is an enormous step down in quality.
We need another CM, CAM, 2 wingers and a RB imo. A good win today but once again we've left it far to late in the transfer window.

I know Sampdoria are a couple of weeks behind in preparation but we were so far the better side we made them look poor. We got lucky with the HG and Abraham did handle the ball but we bossed the game from whistle to whistle and looked really comfortable

Seems like PC thinks that diamonds are a Swans best friend and I saw ghosts of Laudrup and how he had us playing in is first year.

Still, I'm not getting all carried away, it was a good win and a very decent performance but only a friendly at the end f the day so I'm keeping my hands deep in my pockets. All I want this season is a scare free year, boring would suit me fine, with a mid table(ish) finish, top half would be a bonus.

Always nice to get a big win against a name wed love to beat years ago.
God knows how we'll shape up and do this season but we will get more quality to add rather than keep letting go one day ?
