We are railway enthusiasts now are we?........<laugh>.........Anyway back to the game, thought we were all over Newcastle first half, and should have been at least two goals up, but Newcastle grew into the game second half, and was pretty much an even contest, found the second half very frustrating, but glad we finally got the 3 points! Monk worries me.....................<cheers>

From memory it ran from Victoria Station (Near the Terminus Pub / LC2) to Oystermouth. Being p*** poor I used to watch it rather than travel on it; occasionally we'd walk to town from Cockett and get the train to Black Pill, play on the beach, then walk home via Singleton or Brynmill.

I also miss the bridge which was iconic of the town .. we seem to elect councils that knnow the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Most of all I still miss the Vetch.
 
I have just watched the game on goals on sunday. What is it with pardew, what a horrible man. I cant stand the pretend hand shakes at the end of the game. The ignorant twat couldnt be bothered to even look at Laudrup and just touched his hand. Yes, he is upset at the loss. But manners and couertesy cot nothing. He is a loathsome miserable ****er.
 
Never rated him, he's as full of sound bites as Brenda, and as for his managerial abilities go, I always remember him at Charlton!!............<cheers>
 
it's probably my favourite win of the season. We played fantasically in the first half and then ground out a win against an opposition in the ascendancy in the second half. A great substitution and 3 points in the bag to secure 40 points. Apart from Ash having a bit of a shout "shut your mouth, shut your mouth, SHUT YOUR F*C#!ng MOUTH!!" we kept our cool againt obvious Pardew kick em tactics.
Sure we've played better this season but on the back of our Wembley victory that was also a sweet sweet victory.
I think that is the first double we've done over anyone this season, am I right? (qpr don't count!)
