If your only interest in football is points on a table, job done. If like Garry, you "... wants to stand and be excited by the way Swansea attack in games." job not done.

I'm talking away at Soton, where nobody expected us to get diddly-squat ffs..

    We came away with 3!!

Bob, let's get the record straight, nobody loves passing silky football more than me, but if it means just getting the points away at a top team at St. Mary's, I'll take it!! I've still seen enough good football under Monk, at home mostly, to hope there'll be an improvement & more consistency with it. So if we grind out an 'ugly' 3 points against United tomorrow, a team/club who have the calibre of player we can only dream of having, a Swans fan can't be happy??

Are you the type of person that will only walk down the street arm in arm with someone you think makes you look good Bob? No your not

Are you the type of person who would walk the dog ONLY, if it was big and impressive and help make you look good Bob? No your not

Are you the type of person who thinks its fine if the love of your life lost a game she desperately wanted to win just as as long she entertained you, amused you, in her defeat, but looked good. No you not Bob and what a selfish individual you'd be if you were.

So how can you put your subjective amusement ahead of the welfare of our club?

I have watched our Swans everywhere possible, and sometimes impossibly, simply to be near them and with them as they strive to gain points from their game, they are my tribe and I am proud. A win would be great but a point at minimum.......... So it would be of no surprise that I think points for my team far outweigh my subjective need or desire to be entertained or amused.

If its entertainment you're looking for then go to the cinema but if you want to experience all of the highs and feel all of the lows of life Bob then go support your team and take what they give you, that's entertainment Bob?

Cant we expect a bit of both, because I have seen plenty of entertainment at The Liberty as well as the points.

It's like being on the United board <laugh> I'm actually more worried about us not scoring than I am conceding. That's not to say Swansea won't score, ofcourse they could, but at least when you're attacking and scoring you feel you have half a chance.

Same problem for us it seems in that I personally like to see a good performance as much as a good result. Swansea is our toughest game for a while though and it's a must win for us. Normally a point would be fine but we have to win this one. We have a fcked up formation and some very strange team selections. I just hope we start with a proper midfield, play Mata with Rooney up front. I have no idea why you guys have dipped recently, but I hope it continues for this match. Regain your form after saturday please <ok>

    This board is about opinion.
    Football is an entertainment industry.
Thousands of fans are feeling cheated by our lack of quality, if you believe that will generate income to continue the dream that's up to you, I want to watch the Swans with fellow supporters not a stadium half full of fans of the Premier League and the 'big teams' who we play.

"If its entertainment you're looking for then go to the cinema"
That must be the saddest indictment on Monk's tenure that I have read to date - if you want to be entertained don't bother going to watch the Swans.

Maybe it's part of Monks master plan to get the American to sod off :D

I'm expecting a big improvement tomorrow after the WBA performance.

What he's saying is that if Gomis doesn't play we will win 4-0. If he does play we will win 4-1 and somehow Gomis will be involved in their goal :D

You are not wrong Valley. I was wondering how he was going to score from the bench. Then I suppose he has as much chance of scoring from the bench as he has when on the pitch, from the bench he actually gets closer to the box.
