Happy with the draw decent performance from everyone on the pitch. Everton edges it IMO today. Some positives can be taken into the next game. Only disappointment has been the performance of Siggy

Excellent high tempo 0-0 seen at the liberty for a very long time ....Have to be happy with that and anther point towards our total. Everton were excellent and gave it everything but could not break our defence and the same at the other end. .....A fair result in an entertaining game....you wont see many 0-0 games as entertaining as this.....

Apart from the short spell just after Ki came on Everton were much the better side. Siggy just doesn't fit into this formation as we're not playing it through midfield like we used to and so I'd start Ki instead. Siggy gives 100% but is wasted just running around chasing.

We're missing the overlap on the right which we used to get with Rangel as well which puts too much relience on Montero. Everton snuffed him out quite well and loaded the left side down the line to stop the back pass when his runs were halted.

We played like the away side, they pressed us at the back (like everyone does now) but we didn't press them much, probably worried about them breaking. They were sharp and incisive in attack, cutting through midfield with crisp passing. Lukaku was very wasteful though.

A good point for us. It'll be interesting to see the next few games and how we play. At the moment I don't think we'll get top eight. And please stop Fernandez going forward with the ball!

One word summed up our performance for me - predictable. Give it to Jeff - tackled. Give it to Jeff - cross. Give it to Jeff - tackled. Give it to Jeff - ran out over the line.... you get the picture. My boy Barrow did well when he came on because it caught Everton out giving us width on the right, and as much as I like Ayew he doesn't play out wide. Again, when he was on it was all very predictable. Oh, and can someone teach Gomis how to time his runs? He's living offside.

Huge credit to Everton today who were better than us man for man and deserved all three points imo. We were lucky to get a point. We need to mix things up a little and try to catch opponents out because at the moment it's very easy to plan how to play us. Press us as best you can and double up on Montero. If you do that you have a real chance because we seem incapable of trying anything else.

The way we defended would be a travesty if we had lost. Everton gave their best shot but could not score, We had one more shot on target than Everton (3-2) with 48% - 52% in Everton's favour that tells you it was a pretty even game and 0-0 was a fair result....With 5 shots on target between the both sides showed the intensity of the game. well happy with a point in the end...

I'm happy with as point too but not at all happy with the way we played. It wouldn't have been a travesty if we'd lost at all. Everton were a lot closer to scoring than us and definitely edged the game.

Defensively, both sides were solid but don't forget Everton were the away side even though at times you wouldn't know it. I was surprised we didn't offer more going forward but credit to Everton - they've got our number.

I forecast a boring 0-0 draw. I was right with the score but wrong for the boring. It was a good end to end game with both teams on top at times. Everton had a good 15 minitues iin the second half but we defended well and I thought we finished the stronger. Fernandez overall did a good job on Lukaku and I thought Cork mostly had a good game. Ayew did not have his best game and i thought we definitely need a right winger as he he tends to come inside and leaves Naughton without support. For me Barclay was man of the match and the ref was not. Montero was held back by his arm by their no 27 nothing given and a couple of minutes later Montero was involved in a claim for a corner when the ball clearly came of an Everton player but a goal kick was given. Both incidents almost in front of me.

Barrow did more in two minutes than Ayew has done in the last two games. Ayew seems to have a free role and as a result the whole right side is out of shape with him staying inside for most of the game. We didn't stretch Everton and it was too easy to defend.

I was glad with the point because we deserved nowt.
