This is why football is so good, we all have opinions and most of them are all diferent.

Yet there are quite a few who are unable to accept opinions which are at variance with theirs. Sad,really.

Jazz Richards will never be accepted here because he's from Swansea. Having almost no games he's come in and done an excellent job in an unfamiliar position. Predictably, Taylor is constantly having excuses made for him after 30 games back from injury - Taylor has had two good performances in those 30 games. Fernandez gives the ball away and nothing is said, Richards does the same and he's slaughtered. A poor Fernandez pass leads to a goal and its, 'there were other players who could have done something'; Jazz plays a poor pass further away from trouble which leads to a goal and even his manager (who states he isn't going to single anyone out for the loss to Spurs but in the very next sentence) puts all the blame on Jazz Richards.
My advice to Jazz, as much as I love the Swans and want to keep our best players, is move on - the manager doesn't rate you, the fans don't rate but other clubs do.

Jazz is an ok player that is ok to use if there is really nobody else. He is no way at premiership standard as he freezes and pushed into to many mistakes when challenged by a big player. Ill give him credit for trying though but we need much much better, He is our weakest link at the back and the Chelsea players will target him at every opportunity....

I disagree - he's a lot more capable than he gets credit for.

The alternative is we play Rangel. Let's see who out jumps him or runs past him this week.

I think Jazz has done well this season given the amount of time he has had on the pitch, I see a great deal of potential in the lad, and it's ridiculous to say he's not of premier league standard, when he's covered so many times under different managers at this level, he just needs a run of games to get some confidence, which he has never had yet, give the lad a break.................<ok>

2-1 to the Swans why not - we raise our game, the crowd get behind us, Costa has an off day, Montero plays, Gomis scores another own goal, Hazard assaults a ballboy, Morhinio doesnt complain........:emoticon-0125-mmm:

I'm going for 2-1 to us. Chelsea have two tough games coming up next week so they might field a slightly weaker side. That should help us. Plus, we'll up our game, as we usually do.

Not expecting anything from this game but I'll be more than happy as long as we give a good account of ourselves.

I don't understand why there's a downer on Jazz. How many full games has he played at this level? He needs a lot of game time at this level imo and as much as I love Angel his legs have gone. Has anyone noticed how he struggles to get back if the ball is lost upfield? Sometimes he goes through the motions. I think Jazz has done well so far and if it's true that Monk doesn't rate him then that's sad.

As for today I fear the worst <sorry> but hope for the best. Heart say Swans 2-0, head says Chelsea 0-3.

I'm not so sure about the weakened team, Chelsea have a few players coming back from injury or improving fitness after niggles, today would be an ideal opportunity to give them a work out.
Play like we did against West Ham and we could get a draw, play like we did against QPR or Liverpool and it could be a cricket score - unlike lesser teams if they get a chance they score.

    I'm hoping for 1 - 1.

There is no doubt today is a tough call, but we always raise our game for these big games, just hope Gomis focuses on the job at hand, rather than wanting to be elsewhere, if all our player give 110% we can get something from this game, and I hope Shelvey is not available to play, as he will definitely put the kibosh on proceedings.............<ok>

Unless there's a huge change in GD we stay 9th or go 8th if Villa and us win.

This game is going to tell yuu a lot about Gomis the individual. Will he win the individual battles against the opposition's players. Can he handle his role as a defender in set pieces. Today it's not about can he score, more about can he compete. Can he raise his game. What is his attitude. Will he drop and hunt for the ball if our midfield are not able to get it to him. Thinsgs like that. Bony is the yardstick he has to be measured by for these attributes.

Where Gomis falls short on scoring others have to pick up the difference.

Considering his limited game time, Jazz has been solid.
