Swans reject two bids for our key players..

It is money orientated now where everyone is far too greedy...

 

It is a short career, so some players will want out and we will want to reduce the wage bill so it will work for us too. Some of the other players let us down and the question is do you want them taking up a space at Swansea or us getting rid?
I will be more interested in how we use the money and who we get in.

How much did we get for Mawson?

 

£13.5m

Gross was £15m, but £1.5m goes to Barnsley. (Barnsley negotiated 15% of any fee above £5m)

However, Barnsley have to pay Brentford 40% of what they receive.

So, the £15m will be shared:

Swans £13.5m
Barnsley £0.9m
Brentford £0.6m

 

So much for the £40m price tag then

 

Perhaps Pearlman used to sell Double Glazing....

Taff is right they are obviously in need of money to go back to yank land, so probably offered them a one day special, at least DC UTD will have the money to pay Rooneys wages for the next few months.
