Zoz...sorry for delay in answering.

I thought Hughes was a seriously good centre forward and did a great job at Blackburn.

His behaviour at Fulham was the point for me that said "you arrogant jumped up bastard and I wouldn't want you anywhere near my football club"

I agree fella. When he left Fulham to go to QPR, which he had described as a bigger clubs, annoyed me. QPR had just been bought and were being flash with the cash. It was clear what he meant.

That said, I'm willing to believe that he has learnt from that and won't jump ship at the first sign of a high spending club sniffing round.

 

Let's hope so. X

 

Well it was a close run thing in the end, finishing just 2 points behind Swansea and with a better goal difference. 7 points from our last 3 games helped of course. If only Arsenal had done what was expected and not lost to the Swans at the Emirates recently. A great season however for both teams. Looking forward to next season.

IF...pnly those early games at home to Villa and Leicester and West Bloody Brom...12 points down the tubeds.
