Can you imagine if that's the difference between us getting into Europe or not? Doesn't bear thinking about!

    "Leroy Litre",was that intentional,or a typing error?

I like to think it was intentional, and that's what got him all fuelled up to score last Saturday.

Taking his shirt off is just so asinine.

I said to a work colleague that Swans could play in Europe next season and he laughed. Then i said about the fair play league. We dont foul much, hardly get cards and they award points (or deduct them as building points is a bad thing) for playing positively, which we do, and respecting the ref, again which i believe we do. Just got to get the luck of the draw come the end of the year when they draw the countries for the extra place in the Europa league...but if its going to be that much of a headache for the bigwigs dont be surprised if england doesnt get one of the extra places (as i believe that is how it works?)

cannot understand why litre/lita or any other player takes their shirt off to celebrate, if they want to do that wear 2 shirts (if that doesnt count as a yellow when they take 1 off)

I visitted the Rangers and Celtic forums back in BBC606 days,it was a frightening experience just reading the posts.

    It's not really about football,though.

    Religion spoils everything,imo.

I'm not so sure playing in Europe would be a good thing at this stage of our development. Look at Fulham this year, they have struggled after their pre season Euro games and looked tired in their first few Premiership games after a good finish in the League last year. Yes the ultimate goal would to be playing in Europe but not at the expense of our Premiership status next year should we stay up. I wasn't disappointed to lose to Shrewsbury in the League Cup, we have more important things to concentrate on and that is to consolidate our position in the Premiership and to progress from there, then we can think, hope, dream about Europe. It's great to see the Swans play the fair way they do, not giving away stupid free kicks or rushes of blood clouding players judgement but if I was BR and we were near the end of the season, Premier place secured for the next season and we were in danger of being awarded a fair play place, I'd be telling them to go kick a few arses up in the air and pick up a few bookings.
Lets walk before we can run and Europe is a mighty leap.

I'm a firm believer of trying to win everything whether its the Carling, F.A cup or any other game, i was disappointed to lose to lowly shrewsbury, we are a football team just like everyone else and the carling cup was imo our best chance of glory,

I think Tony Pulis' attitude sums it up. Ahead of their game against Spurs, Pulis had been asked about what he made of reduced recovery time due to Europa League participation. Given that Redknapp had been moaning about how his players didn't have any rest (they played on the same days as Stoke), you wouldn't have been surprised to see Pulis agree with 'Arry but he refuted any suggestion that it wasn't enough time. I can't find the article but it was pretty much "The team is full of professionals, and we play to win every game."

teams have a 25 man squad, obviously there are standouts and the question of squad rotation will come up but i think professional players who cannot handle 3 games in 7-9 days should have their fitness questioned
