Yankee- Asley westwood is a midfielder of great promise, i think we were linked to him when rodgers was here, im not sure what the reason is for signing him, one for the future i guess with an ability to maybe grow into the first team later on.

Just had another ead of that article, its got to be bollocks actually, if you look at the date on the article it has the date of august 2012 !!

 

re: Ashley Westwood. Check the date on the article - for some reason it was put back up. We were after him then Lambert came in for him and he went to Villa. A shame but really enough with the midflielders! Our midfield is very strong - I would aim at a CF and a defender (hopefully someone who can play alongthe back four - a Prem version of Tate, if you like).

That's why I asked, Norway. Somewhere in the cobwebbed recesses of what passes for my mind these days, I seemed to remember something about us losing out with Westwood. When Goodland mentioned Villa it all came flooding back.... well trickling back anyway.
