MM - so true. One touch and a toe poke - absolute striking class, and what about that killer pass threaded through from Whitts that set him up? Not seen many better in this league - definitely Prem quality.

MM - the two players concerned can do far better than that for themselves. <ok>

Surely if the police can have a "black" police federation then how can someone writing "the Villa number 3 passed the ball to your little black player"?
If JH had written "the Villa number 3 passed the ball to your little black bastard" then that would be racist.

    agree with taff.
The race card is far too easy to play these days and this is the second time its been played in as many days.
Blatant racism is one of the few things either myself or Swamp would remove.

In this case, Nathan Dyer, who is in fact a black player and at 5'5", is definately little.
Don't create problems that aren't there just because it's in a post by JH <ok>

Cracker, not a very media savvy statement no more. Bad taste is subjective. Does it prompt a response? Certainly it does especially if people read it and respond without thinking on it first.

Didn't mean to imply you didn't think cracker. As I said bad taste is subjective and you are entitled to your opinion which I respect.

How small minded can you get? Answers on a postcard please?

It's getting to the point where it will be an offence to use any sort of adjective to describe a person. Get a reality check those who consider JH's description of Dyer to be offensive. Don't be so bloody sensitive. There are much worse things going on in this world.

Small minded is right . Dyer has a name , try using it . The description used to describe Dyer had no formal use in the comment itself , why use it . You guys want to endorse john on this one , fill your boots , it says more about you than Dyer .

Cracker, don't change the subject, JH was accused of racism, whether or not he calls a player by his name is irrelevant in this debate.
We are not endorsing JH, we are pointing out his comment was not racist, nothing more. You and Musty are making it an issue.

Like I said, adjectives not allowed.

The distance these people live away from the UK seems to be inversely proportional to their brain size.

Breezey - stop playing at being the PC police on here pal.

Though I very much doubt that JH said "little black player" in his comment out of affection for a Jack winger of that description, Musty got it wrong on this occasion. The wording used is a correct (and politically correct) term that no one should object to other than it might have been used in a less than affectionate way.
