Swans in and out transfer rumors

Back on thread - with Sagna looking likely not to extend his contract, Wenger is looking at full backs. Sebastien Carchio is reported as being his first choice but he is also looking at the prospect of making a bid for our Angel. Anyone with any thoughts on this? It's probably just rumour but this is a rumour thread, so what might our valuation be if this is true and would you be happy to let Angel go?

 

We have Ben and Neil, Tiendalli and Jazz. So we have quality and depth. Would not like to see Rangel go but, if the price is right and if he chose to move on then I wouldn't be troubled by it. Rangel is getting past his prime in years, now would be a good time to cash in otherwise we ride him at home until he drops.

 

Dont think Rangel will go now, seems happy that he acheived all his dreams with us and is no doubt mighty glad he didnt get his wish to move on when he wanted to, nothing can beat acheiving Prem promotion,stability and winning a Cup with European football with the team that brought him here from spains 3rd division(or was it second? )

 

I think Rangel will see out his career with us.

 

I hope so too. He would make a good addition to the coaching staff - he's technically competent, understands the Spanish game, could work very well with the Youth and U-21 setup for starters

I would like to take exception to my affectionate term DaiScouser being included in your derogatory list of adjectives, DaiScouser is not in my view as defamatory as 'Idiot', 'Muppets', 'Tweedledums', 'Dumb & Dumber', and is based on the accused long advocated love of the Scouser team Liverspuds, and his beloved Brenda, which he has openly advocated on these boards, so I wish to have DaiScouser removed from the list, as it's inclusion is erroneous to say the least, and imputes a wrong motive to my good self. It has always been noted by all fair minded on here, that I have always supported the accused (DaiScouser), and his right to post in good humour, so that should add weight to my affectionate reference to the accused as DaiScouser!.........

Count me in on that. Angel is well and truly one of us and I hope he stays with the club long after his playing career ends.
