If Williams does go them I hope it would be a proper team like one of the Manchester clubs because he's better than Liverpool that's for sure. I agree with this.

I would prefer Man Utd bought Michu and gave us £15M in return plus Chicharito, but please bear in mind I am only saying this as a "IF" Michu was to go. A player plus cash swap deal would benefit the squad especially for somebody like "Little Pea" who should in theory excel in our style of play... all those through balls for him to run on to, he'd be unleashed in our squad.

 

Reported today by Ash and his agent that the player and his family are very happy in Swansea and he doesn't want to go anywhere. Of course, we've heard this sort of thing before only to see the exact opposite happening!

For now I'm prepared to accept the statement at face value. Ash isn't stupid and can see that Joe hasn't been a success at Liverpool. Naturally the money is a big sweetener but some players want to..... play. Ash might well be one and he must know that he would not be guaranteed a starting place at Liverpool. We'll see.

Having read through the insults (wasn't on last night), I agree with Musty, Dai stop insulting other posters, everyone has the right to post their views, even if you disagree with them.

 

Not in today's inflated market, especially when decent defenders are hard to come by. Anyway, why would he want to leave a team that will be competing in Europe next season?
