Bit of a kick bollock scramble this one. A few mistakes from different players throughout, but impressively cleaned up quickly, often by Kante, who must be the best positional player going round.
Some great team attacks and very good performances , notably by Fabregas, Pedro, Hazard and Kante. The rest played well ,but Costa again looked bored and uncommitted to me. One thing is certain, Costa has poor ball control skills and is often dispossessed just when he is in a scoring position. I would not be too sorry if he was to go, he's just not consistent enough. Just watch, next game he will have a blinder !!

CP, looks like Costa is short in confidence. He will not take more than 2 touches in the box when he has a shooting lane.
Now he delays the shot and takes 2 more touches at least.

He needs to sort out his hesitancy sooner for us to get to a safer place.

Cahill is at fault I reckon for 75% of goals conceded. Superb looking athlete without a brain cell working for football or defending.

agree with no cell for defending.
but Cahill may be a lot better striker tbh.

Kante bosses the middle for you, is it so simple why Leicester are so bad?

Kante is the best midfielder in the Prem. He would boss it for anyone.

Best defensive midfielder deffo, it's a specific role he plays and he does it so very well.

Victor Wanyama is another one. Spuds look good because of Victor & only him.

Case I made last year October that why we will not go anywhere. We lacked Kante / Wanyama type player.

Cahill is a player who gives everything , and has been especially good for us this year. His main weakness for me is defending set pieces, as the opposition often gets away from him. He is the one most likely to have to fight really hard to hold his spot when Ake, Zouma and hopefully Christensen, are really in the running next season. That said, he has played a big part in our revival ,so I'm not going to bag him. Maybe Conte can sort out a way to cover this ongoing problem?
