I'd agree with Swanny that Elmo should get top billing. It's no coincidence that the team seized-up when he went back to Sunderland and started ticking over again when he returned.
I agree with Swanny's top 5, though I'd have Quinny in 3rd, Macca 4th and Aluko 5th. Think it shows what kind of season we've had when 4 of this 5 could realistically win player of the season (injury for most of the 2nd half of the season probably rules out Aluko who if fit would have had a shout). In the last couple of seasons we've had about one or two contenders for players of the season, this season we have around twice as many contenders.
