Hi,

Bristol Rovers fan here (we're that team at the bottom of the football league)! I checked with bow4fowler if I could post this here so thanks to him for letting me. Down in the basement divisions there seems to be a lot of fans who are disenchanted with the amount/quality of information provided to them about the club. Many seem to feel less part of the club that they have followed through the ups and downs (sadly more of the downs as a Rovers fan), so I wanted to gauge the feeling of other fans from clubs in higher league positions (yes yes I know that's everyone), but specifically clubs where to the outside world the fans are the bedrock of the club and underpin it's values. Below is a link to a 10 question survey to try and compare the clubs. It would be great if some of you could complete the survey. Once I have a decent number of responses from you guys and from some other clubs I will give bow4fowler an overview of the results for both all responses and the responses from just Liverpool fans. Thought it would be interesting to see what perceptions people have:

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

It's all good, whoever can or interested have a squint at the survey. <ok>

Completed the survey.

I'm generally quite happy to be fair.

Accountability for transfers in the only area I want clearing up.

We still don't really know about Kenny/Comollie. Only rumours.

Ive done one.

Rovers will get back up there. You have your new stadium coming.

As a big Bristol RFC fan im gutted. Going to miss the Memorial stadium on a saturday afternoon, best pasties in the world.

Better at The Rec ;)

BTW did the survey

I'd like to know other LFC fan's views on this. The reason I ask is that we're known for wanting all activities kept quiet and in house. as the quote says "... The directors are only there to sign the cheques"

I pretty much said that I'd rather not know anything so that the laundry is done in house <ok>

ah a Gas Head, How's John Ward getting on with your lot? U's fans thought he was awful but I know you guys have history with him
Played 4 Won 2 Drawn 1 and Lost 1 (to the team top of the league at the time).
He seems to have put some belief back in the team and a work ethic that seemed to have gone missing so I am quietly confident we can progress with him at the helm. Has given the fans belief again too so matchdays have a great atmosphere too.

Thanks for all the responses and kind replies. I would like to take the plaudits for the pasties but truth be told I've never tried one! If you guys reckon there good though I'll give 1 a go next home match!

The U's had the same with Joe Dunne, until Colchester then went on a 7 game losing streak

Mate, I'm a world expert on what makes a good pasty, and the ones they sell at the Mem are definitely up there with the best you can get in Devon/Cornwall

Fairly decent result for Port Vale last night, holding Wimbledon to a draw - the Rovers must win their games in hand now and start the climb upwards.

I'm not sure FSG actually sign the cheques, with £35m spent on one player seeming to have nothing to do with them. Comolli must've nicked their credit card or something.

It must eat you up to see Rodgers get more out of Suarez, Downing, and Henderson than Kenny ever did, doesn't it? 35 million on a donkey, I wonder who OK'd that...
