be surprised if the owners put those expectations on Brendan for next season, if they give him a heavy war chest then they might expect a return on it (doubt that will happen though), but all i have seen since Brendan has come in is cutting the wage bill massively. wont be much of a supposed project if you are only given 2 years to start performing or you are gone, there is a good reason why Fergie and Wenger are the more respected managers in the league, time to build their squads and have brought success, apart from City and Chelsea who go and buy who they like how do the owners expect us to be competitive again if we keep changing managers every other season and have to start again with new players and ideas.
SOS, BR probably has plenty of time with Mr. Henry as long as he manages mid-table mediocrity. I think our buds in Boston are happy as long as they get money (we're still a major worldwide brand) and they have their man in charge who kisses their bottoms sweetly enough. No Rodgers isn't good enough to win anything... CL would be a surprise. I think Henry will give him three years or more before he gives up. I wish we had more ambition but truth is FSG don't... they will spend to keep us in mid table mediocrity as long as revenue is streaming in. I don't think they want to rock the boat and bring in another new manager though. Moyes is doing a better job relatively... but to be fair, he's had a long time getting nowhere that the squad is now well and truly his. The core of our team is still Rafas.
forget everton I'd like to think we can catch Arsenal, though the other two london clubs are probably too good and too far away. i don°t think its unreasonable to hope that liverpool score 39 pts out of 39. there are plenty of tricky fixtures left but if our best XI stay fit then every game is winnable
This is why I try hard to avoid talking **** on forums. All it takes is a result like today to kick you square in the peas and rivals to just bust on you.
Very true Bluff, the Liverpool Echo got it spot on. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/2013...ball-matches-for-three-years-100252-32791029/
