    although the way this season is going we could get something we seem to be beating our bogey teams now...no doubt ive jinxed it but oh well

    I've always said shola was crap and today he's proved to everyone how BAD he really is, poor control, poor attitude, poor positioning, Just ****ING POOR! I lost count the amount of times after attacks that he still hadn't got back onside when we re won the ball back and could have countered. Bloody boils my piss!! :steam:

    I 100% agree. All our first team strikers apart from Ba are Championship quality and I include Best in that despite his good goal today.

    No, Best is a cut above. Good player with the ball at his feet and he could by all rights have made it 2-0 today... but instead he passed the ball to Shola... who wasn't looking. <steam>

    Best isn't anywhere near 'a cut above'. His level, based on his career so far, is Championship at Best (har har).

    No, Shola is Championship at best, Best can score goals and set people up INTENTIONALLY.

    Not regularly enough to be considered Premiership standard though. That's the problem. The fact that he gets caught offside as much as he does counts against him too.

    Best I'd qualify as Premiership back-up quality, and frankly is better than many starters around the league. Shola on the other hand...Premiership reserves? Championship?
